Resources Pool Registered Nurse

Job Title

This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until August 31, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be July 7, 2026 with subsequent cut-off dates every 2 weeks. Eligible applications received after that date will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered as vacancies become available.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Accounts for utilizing critical thinking skills and sound judgment to ensure positive outcomes.
• Recognizes subtle abnormal signs and symptoms and/or changes in patients' condition and responds appropriately.
• Considers all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stages, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiences.
• Poises and articulates in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgrounds.
• Works cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignments.
• Participates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programs.
• Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components.
• Demonstrates evidence of critical thinking skills in identifying, analyzing, and resolving patient care problems on the unit.
• Develops and implements a plan to meet learning needs, instructing patients and families educational needs and discharge planning.
• Ensures that assigned delegated tasks are completed by team members.

Work Schedule: Intermittent. Shifts may vary depending on patient care needs
