Responsibilities Educate employees and individuals on available insurance and benefits options; explain coverage details and help clients select plans that align with their needs and budgets. Meet with clients in person, conduct benefits presentations, respond to questions, and provide ongoing customer support before and after enrollment. Engage in sales activities such as prospecting, follow-up calls, and participating in enrollment events; maintain accurate records of client interactions and plan selections. Build and grow a client base and, over time, recruit and mentor team members to expand the local presence. Work on-site in Tampa, FL, with flexibility to attend enrollment events and client meetings as needed. Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits and insurance products, with the ability to explain plan features clearly and accurately. Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse client populations. Experience in consultative sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals while maintaining ethical, client-focused practices. Ability to deliver training and benefits presentations to groups and individuals, simplifying complex information for varied audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Comfort working in an on-site environment in Tampa, FL, with flexibility to attend enrollment events and client meetings as needed. Prior experience in insurance, benefits advising, or human resources is preferred; relevant state insurance licensing or willingness to obtain it is highly beneficial.
