Software Engineer II - Integrations & API Connectivity

Title and Summary
• Develop, test, and support scalable APIs and backend services
• Contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, maintainable software solutions
• Deliver high-quality code throughout the software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues under guidance from senior team members
• Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices and standards
• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, Security, and SRE
• Support efforts to improve observability, automation, and operational efficiency across services
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and engineering practices Technology Stack
• Backend: C#, .NET, Web APIs
• Cloud: Azure (App Services, KeyVault, Blob Storage), AWS (S3, Redis, Microservices)
• Data: PostgreSQL, Flyway
• Practices: CI/CD pipelines, observability, secure development
• Plus: Java / Spring Boot, AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) What You Bring - Required
• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience developing backend applications and APIs using modern programming frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems concepts
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing practices, and secure coding principles
• Ability to analyze and solve technical problems with guidance from senior engineers when needed
• Experience delivering software components and features in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to learning, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence Preferred
• Experience in payments, banking, or Open Banking (PSD2) environments
• Exposure to microservices-based architectures
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and production support practices
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) Corporate Security Responsibility
