What You Can Expect

• Sign on bonus available (ask your Talent Acquisition Advisor if you are eligible for sign-on bonus)
• Performs comprehensive speech and language evaluations, treatment and related follow-up services including discharge planning
• Documents patient assessments and pertinent information in a timely manner
• Completes appropriate goal re-assessment and discharge planning
• Provides speech therapy, including selection and use of assistive equipment
• Collaborates with patient and other healthcare personnel or outside agencies regarding coordination of care
• Provides speech and language therapy according to standards of care defined by the state practice act and other professional and governing agencies
• Trains and educates patients and family members or others support and documents understanding of treatment plan and goals

Qualifications

• Master's degree- speech and language therapy- required
• 1 year speech therapy experience - required
• 1 year home health experience - preferred
• Speech pathologist (SPE)- state licensing board - required
• Certificate of clinical competence (CCC)- American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) - required
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)- American Heart Association - required
• Driver's license - required
• Auto insurance - required

Travel is required: up to 75%
