Job Summary : Assist in all portions of patient care: observing and assisting a licensed technologist with stationary and portable x-ray equipment.

Job Responsibilities include :

• Prepares and positions patients for x-ray examinations.

• Transport patients from the emergency room to x-ray room and assist technologist moving patients.

• Student will be able to learn how to use EMR and complete paperwork.

• Works as part of a team to maintain high standards in radiology.

• Performs routine duties such as stocking and cleaning rooms.

• Must have ability to react quickly to emergency situations such as patient fainting, patient being unsteady while standing for procedures

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

Education – H.S. Diploma and current enrollment in Radiologic Technology school.

Experience – Minimum of 1 year Radiologic Technologist school.

Licensure – N/A

Physical Requirements – Must be able to push, pull, bend, and safely transfer patients – ambulate without assistance.

Pay Range Disclosure:

• Standard Rate of $16.00 per hour plus benefits
