Machine Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities: * Perform all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements * Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time

• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Start/Shutdown machines and automation as needed for production
• Reload labels into automation
• Report on all quality issues to Process Technicians and/or Process Engineer
• Assist Process Technicians as needed with color changes, machine start-ups,

minor process adjustments and process control paperwork

• Assist in setting up auxiliary equipment needed for production run
• Report all production waste to Production Manager or Supervisor
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
• Responsible for notifying a Process Technicians and/or Supervisor when they

step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained * Perform other duties as required by Process Technicians and/or Supervisor and Manager * Follow all company policies and procedures Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically Inclined
• Molding Experience is a plus
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
