Shift Leader – Donatos Pizza

Donatos Pizza is looking for a dependable, energetic Shift Leader to join our team in Flower Mound.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in running a great shift, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed. This position is a great fit for someone who has restaurant or customer service experience and wants a leadership role without the expectation of becoming a General Manager.

As a Shift Leader, you’ll help keep the restaurant running smoothly, support the team during busy periods, maintain Donatos standards, and make sure every guest receives great food and great service.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the team during assigned shifts and keep everyone organized and on task
• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient customer service
• Help train and coach new and existing team members
• Maintain Donatos standards for food quality, portioning, presentation, and service
• Assist with opening and closing the restaurant
• Handle cash, drawers, deposits, and other shift-management responsibilities
• Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
• Help manage ticket times and keep operations moving during busy periods
• Resolve customer concerns professionally when they arise
• Assign positions and make adjustments throughout the shift based on business needs
• Complete prep, production, cleaning, and other restaurant duties alongside the team
• Communicate important shift information to restaurant management

• Has previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience

Previous leadership experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person who has strong reliability, work ethic, and communication skills.

What This Role Is

This is a hands-on leadership position. Our Shift Leaders aren’t expected to stand on the sidelines and simply supervise. You’ll work alongside the team, help solve problems, support employees, and take ownership of the restaurant while you’re running the shift.

This position does not require you to be pursuing a General Manager position. If you’re looking for a steady leadership role where you can contribute, develop your skills, and be an important part of the restaurant team, we’d like to hear from you.
