Regional Controller

Location: On-Site in Decatur, AL or Chattanooga, TN Job Type: Permanent (Direct Placement) Location: Onsite in Chattanooga, TN or Decatur, AL Travel: Nashville, TN approximately 1x per week (Incentive car bonus program included) Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 annual salary + 15% annual bonus Position Summary One of Insight Global's clients is seeking a Regional Controller to provide financial leadership across regional accounting and finance operations. This role partners closely with the Regional Vice President of Operations to support business objectives, drive operational performance, and provide financial oversight across the region. Key Responsibilities Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions Manage bank and credit card reconciliations Lead monthly and year-end close activities Review trial balances and perform variance analysis Maintain and monitor internal controls and financial reporting processes Prepare and present financial results, findings, and recommendations to senior leadership, including the Regional VP, CFO, and Corporate Controller Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, purchasing, and billing processes Provide reporting and financial visibility across the region Assist with financial systems initiatives and M&A integration activities Partner with operations teams to support inventory management, cost control, and operational performance Supervise two direct reports and support the accounting team in Nashville Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5-10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience At least 2 years of accounting leadership or management experience Significant hands-on experience with month-end and year-end close processes Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis Preferred Qualifications Inventory management experience Experience conducting employee reviews Experience participating in hiring and/or termination decisions Experience partnering with operations teams on inventory management, financial reporting, and cost control initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
