Specialty Account Manager Neurology, Thousand Oaks

Amgen seeks a Specialty Account Manager to represent UPLIZNA in neurology and rare disease markets. The role combines territory management, physician relationship building, and cross-functional coordination to drive product adoption while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop territory business plans to achieve annual sales goals for UPLIZNA
- Establish relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals to drive product demand
- Coordinate with patient services and market access teams on access and reimbursement issues
- Educate healthcare providers on disease state and site-of-care options
- Communicate territory activity and market feedback to leadership and internal departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience
- Master's degree and 6 years account management or commercial sales experience
- Doctorate degree and 2 years collective account management and sales experience
- Demonstrated reimbursement navigation and site of care education experience
- Neurology or specialty/rare disease sales background strongly preferred
- Ability to coordinate across field teams and manage complex customer needs
- PhRMA code compliance and pharmaceutical account management proficiency
