Regional Vice President, Sales (Vascular) South Region

Merit Medical seeks a Regional Vice President of Sales for the Vascular division covering the South region. This leadership role involves managing a sales team, developing Account Executives, monitoring regional performance against sales targets, and collaborating with marketing and manufacturing to address customer needs and product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, hire, and train Account Executives on customer needs and company products
• Coach sales representatives on presentation skills, territory management, and productivity improvement
• Monitor individual and team progress toward sales goals and report on performance metrics
• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with regional sales objectives
• Coordinate with manufacturing, marketing, and other departments to resolve product and process issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent education with marketing coursework
• Minimum seven years as a sales manager leading a successful sales force
• Expertise in sales techniques, customer service principles, and presentation effectiveness
• Strong management skills including team selection, development, and performance oversight
• Medical device industry experience and knowledge of medical manufacturing business
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, database, and applicable software
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel frequently to meet customer needs

Compensation: $173,000 base annually, plus annual sales bonus plan opportunity
