Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent stepdown or progressive care experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple, complex patient cases with confidence and compassion
• Proficient with electronic medical records and adaptable to new technology
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Collaborative communicator and effective team player

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, evidence-based patient care in a stepdown unit
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, post-discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation at all times
