Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Maintenance TechnicianSix-Month Contract position Second Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm Pay Rate: $26.00-$30.00 per hour (based on proven work history)General Description of the Maintenance Technician: You will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repairing of all electrical and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to CNC Lathes and Warm Forge Presses.Principle Duties and Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, components, and equipment according to electrical codes and blueprintsDiagnosing electrical malfunctions, repairing, or replacing faulty parts, and ensuring equipment operates correctlyConducting routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of machinery and electrical systemsDocumenting maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacementWorking with technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and improve processesRequirements of the Maintenance Technician:Work experience in a similar role ideally in production oriented environment, with an emphasis on repair/troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses is preferredKnowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and various industrial control systemsWorking knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprintsAbility to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systemsStrong oral and written communication and basic computer skillsShift flexibility and willingness to work overtime is desiredTop Three Requirements: Diagnosing electrical malfunctions, repairing, and replacing faulty parts, and ensuring equipment operates correctly, production oriented environment, with emphasis on repair/troubleshooting CNC Machines and mechanical presses is preferred. STRONG ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ANALYTICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITYStrong Preference for: Electrical troubleshooting experience, CNC machine troubleshooting/repair experience, Mechanical-only candidates may be considered if highly skilled in CNC equipmentNOT SEEKING FACILITIES MAINTENANCE BACKGROUNDSHigh School Diploma or GEDA successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
