Organization Overview The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is one of the world’s largest and most experienced organizations in treating individuals of all ages diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), CARD provides high‑quality, individualized treatment through a network of behavior technicians, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and researchers. Address: 611 Gateway Blvd Suite 120, South San Francisco, California 94080 Annual Salary: $70,304 – $72,000 (based on experience) Position Overview The Operations Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned center, managing administrative duties, staff development, financial health, and facility operations to ensure efficient service delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders. Uphold CARD standards and values, communicating policies and mission at the center. Recruit, hire, onboard, and provide mentorship to administrative and clinical staff. Supervise daily operations of staff to ensure employee and patient satisfaction. Schedule clients and staff to meet contracted hours and billing requirements. Partner with Clinical Supervisors to deliver high‑quality clinical services. Implement business systems, legal practices, HIPAA compliance, and technology. Maintain client and employee records; manage purchases, equipment, and budget tracking. Lead outreach to meet growth targets and build relationships with community entities. Improve KPIs, patient retention, staff development, and overall division growth. Ensure privacy of client and employee information per HIPAA regulations. Oversee facility cleaning, hygiene, safety, and maintenance. Attend required trainings, meetings, and provide support to other centers as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in business, accounting, finance, administration, or management preferred. 3–6years of management experience; experience in healthcare settings preferred. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required. Work Environment Typical office environment with minimal noise. Occasional local or overnight travel, usually by automobile or plane. Physical Requirements Work with patients seated on floor, small chairs, or in home, school, community, and clinic settings. Move frequently to gather materials and respond to patient movement. Assume positions such as bending, kneeling, crouching, or standing to provide instruction. Monitor and intervene with patient behaviors, potentially bearing weight of a patient. Use modeling to teach gross and fine motor skills in indoor and outdoor settings.
