Workday Financials Consultant Location: Cary, NC / Tampa, FL Duration: Contract Required Skills 8+ years of experience as a Workday Financials Consultant Strong expertise in Workday Financial Management and Workday Accounting Center (WAC) Hands‑on experience with General Ledger (GL), Financial Reporting & Analytics Experience configuring Business Processes, Security, and Workday Setup Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting (Advanced Reports, Composite, Matrix, Prism) Experience with Workday Studio, RAAS, WQL, SOAP/REST APIs Strong Financial Data Reconciliation experience Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX, multi-entity, and multi-currency accounting Experience with Workday releases, integrations, and Finance Data Hub Key Responsibilities Configure and support Workday Financials, including Accounting Center, GL, Chart of Accounts, Allocations, and Financial Reporting. Lead data conversion, reconciliation, validation, and financial reporting activities. Develop Workday reports, dashboards, and integrations with external systems (e.g., Azure Databricks). Configure business processes, workflows, security, and compliance controls. Support testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), cutover, production deployment, and post-go-live stabilization. Collaborate with Solution Architects, Finance stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable Workday Financial solutions.
