Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing physical testing of soil, concrete, aggregates, and asphalt materials. The successful candidate must be able to use a calculator and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability and willingness to obtain industry-required certifications and participate in ongoing training programs. Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to sit for prolonged periods when required. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach while performing testing procedures and handling materials. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and laboratory environments. This position operates out of our Cary, NC office. This is a full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed. We offer an excellent benefits package and a positive working environment.
