Receptionist

The receptionist will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors, answering and directing incoming calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, as wellproviding clerical and administrative support to all departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and giving instructions. Manages the primary phone systems. Plan, schedule, and prepare meetings. Monitor Conference Rooms and Kitchen to ensure supplies are current. Make travel arrangements for staff and visitors. Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail. Maintain and route publications. Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of office supplies. Prepare documents for local dispatch. Protect organization’s values by keeping information confidential. Other administrative duties to support plant staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel. Must have excellent written and oral skills. Must be customer focused Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 15 pounds. Ability to sit for long periods; stand and walk frequently; and bend, stoop, and reach occasionally.
