About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Neuro Medical-Surgical – Tennessee**Start Date:** October 12, 2026**Location:** Tennessee**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Three 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule; 6:1 patient ratio**Highlights:**- 20-bed Neuro Medical-Surgical unit in an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke and Certified Chest Pain Center designations- Utilize Meditech documentation system with modern technology including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, and iMobile communication tools- Dedicated tech support on day and night shifts with unit secretary coverage from 7am-7pm- Focus on compassionate, patient-centered care with bedside shift reports and family involvement in care planning- Rotation-based floating policy with contract labor floating first- Required uniform provided (navy scrubs)**Requirements:**- Active RN license- Current BLS certification- Med/Surg experience required- Competency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes- Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a specialized neuro medical-surgical team at a recognized trauma and stroke center where you'll make a meaningful impact on patients recovering from complex neurological and surgical conditions.
