Job Opportunity At Jax Jackson General HospitalResponsible for day to day scheduling, monitoring of work flow in a patient registration, processing payments and billing accounts as well as oversight of patient record releases. Other duties may be assigned.Employee must have proficient use of and accurate data entry and ability to abstract data.Reviews work for accuracyCollaborates with other staff to assure medical record and scheduling is accurateCollects and post payments accurately and balances at the end of the shiftReleases medical records and Protected Health Information per protocols and adheres to HIPAACommunicates with patients and clinic staff to ensure proper paperwork is available for the office visit.Monitors use of hospital resources.
