This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered women s healthcare to a diverse community while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Women s Health Nurse Practitioner will provide care throughout the reproductive lifespan, with an emphasis on gynecologic care, reproductive health, family planning, prenatal care, preventive services, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations, including well-woman exams
• Diagnose and treat common reproductive and gynecological conditions
• Provide evidence-based care throughout the reproductive lifespan, from adolescence through menopause
• Provide family planning counseling, contraceptive education, and prescription services
• Develop individualized family planning strategies with patients
• Administer contraceptive methods, including long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) and hormonal methods
• Provide prenatal examinations, screenings, education, and ongoing prenatal care
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care during pregnancy
• Provide postpartum care and support addressing both physical and emotional well-being
• Educate patients regarding reproductive health, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Promote disease prevention and health education within the community
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records and comply with applicable regulatory and FQHC standards

Qualifications

• Master s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Women s Health Nurse Practitioner specialization
• Current Washington State nursing license
• Current certification as a Women s Health Nurse Practitioner
• DEA certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Previous women s healthcare experience preferred
• FQHC or community health experience is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and treatment-planning abilities
• Compassionate and culturally responsive approach to patient care
