This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, financial management, compensation design, analytics, and operational execution, providing a unique opportunity to influence key decisions across one of the firm's most important distribution businesses.The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, helping drive growth initiatives, optimize business performance, enhance incentive structures, and support long-term planning efforts across the Client Solutions Group. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across Asset & Wealth Management, Human Capital Management, Controllers, Sales Enablement, and Business Management functions to deliver data-driven insights and execute high-impact initiatives.This is a highly visible role offering significant exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to shape the strategic direction, operating model, and performance framework of a growing business.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIALPartner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support business growth, advisor engagement, and commercial effectivenessDesign, enhance, and operationalize compensation and incentive programs that align employee behaviors with business objectives and growth prioritiesDeliver analytical insights related to sales performance, business trends, productivity metrics, and resource allocationSupport annual strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, and business management processesDevelop reporting, KPI frameworks, and management materials used to inform key business decisionsDrive the integration of data strategy into the commissions program, increasing transparency, scalability, and actionable insights for leadership and participantsEvaluate business performance and identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, scalability, and profitabilityPartner across Finance, HCM, Controllers, Sales Enablement, Technology, and Business Management teams to execute strategic projects and operating prioritiesDrive governance processes and business reviews to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and leadership prioritiesAssess industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to inform business strategy and decision-makingLead initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, data quality, and infrastructure enhancementSKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR8-15 years of relevant experience in business strategy, finance, business management, compensation, consulting, COO functions, analytics, or other related fieldsExperience in asset management, wealth management, financial services, or other commercially driven businesses preferredStrong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendationsExperience supporting senior leadership and influencing decision-making across multiple stakeholder groupsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong understanding of financial analysis, business performance metrics, incentive structures, and organizational planningAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skills requiredExperience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Qlik, or similar platformsExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and effectively to senior audiencesStrong project management, organizational, and execution skills with exceptional attention to detailSelf-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on executionAbility to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of seniorityPREFERRED BACKGROUNDSWe welcome candidates with experience across a variety of disciplines, including:Distribution strategyBusiness management or COO functionsCompensation and incentive designCommercial financeSales analytics and business intelligenceManagement consultingCorporate strategy and planningFinancial planning & analysisClient or distribution leadership support functionsSalary Range The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
