Position Type: Facilities and Grounds/ Custodian Date Posted: 1/7/2026 Location: Multiple Locations Closing Date: Accepting Applications Description: 8hrs./day (3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.) Monday - Friday Effective Date of Employment: As soon as possible QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalency required. Previous custodial experience preferred. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently. Must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties including lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis and display flexibility in cleaning assignments. Ability to communicate in a clear, positive manner with staff, students and the public. Must have a desire to work in a cooperative manner and team environment. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES Clean assigned building areas. Move and assemble furniture, etc. Assist in securing the building during and at the end of shift. Assist in school recycling program. Assist with grounds duties, pick up trash. Perform duties in a timely, neat, and efficient manner.
