Job Summary We are currently looking for a full‑time retail sales associate to join our team. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $16.50 to $19.50, with the potential to earn up to 8% commission on transactions. Auto‑enrollment in FirstCash 401(k) after 6 months and access to pet insurance program. Responsibilities Greets customers and builds rapport to recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays. Processes sales and loan transactions following policy and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items in compliance with policy. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect. Partners with all employees for a positive customer experience. Completes assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Age 18+; high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 lb and perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required. Physical ability to assist customers outside the building and retrieve items from outside storage. Strong customer service orientation with teamwork. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient in basic math calculations; cash handling experience preferred. Flexible to work multiple locations and a variable retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and comfortable operating POS systems and common office machines. Commission Plan The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. More detail will be given during interview.
