Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment. Key Duties Include Following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration Documenting medication administration in MAR/TAR accurately and promptly Monitoring residents during and after medication passes Observing symptoms, reporting concerns, and administering medications for symptom relief Completing narcotic counts and maintaining clean, organized medication carts and rooms Adhering to infection control and safety standards Qualifications And Skills Required High School Diploma or GED; age 18+ Medication Administration certification CPR and First Aid certifications Strong documentation and communication skills Experience in senior care preferred This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Azza HealthCare Agency
