Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center, located in the beautiful El Dorado Hills, offers a collegial and collaborative work setting. The facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercise equipment, manual therapy tools, and advanced modalities for pain relief and rehabilitation. As a member of our team, you will work onsite, interacting directly with patients and collaborating with fellow healthcare providers to deliver holistic care. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while committing to our patients' progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their medical history, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Create tailored treatment plans that reflect assessment outcomes, integrating techniques appropriate for each patient's needs.
• Engage patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they understand their individualized plan of care and motivating them to adhere to prescribed regimens.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies, including manual therapy and progressive exercise programs, aimed at restoring movement and strengthening physical abilities.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance recovery and outcomes.
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and adaptive strategies to improve daily function.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will be working with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes patients recovering from surgical interventions, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach centers on rehabilitation that empowers patients to achieve their personal health and activity goals, fostering independence and promoting a return to daily activities that matter most to them.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current State of California licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or board actions against the license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Proficiency in developing and conducting tailored exercise programs for various demographics and conditions.
• Experience in utilizing specific physical therapy modalities appropriate for orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Motion Masters Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
