Residency Physician (Primary Care)

Location: Delaware Job Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient Private Practice

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:40 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Telehealth)
No weekends or on-call responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join a modern outpatient practice. This position focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordinated patient care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Physicians will enjoy a manageable patient volume, excellent work-life balance, and opportunities for long-term professional growth, including partnership potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Promote preventive care and patient education.
Collaborate with specialists and interdisciplinary care teams.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Manage an average patient panel of approximately 16 patients per day.
Participate in telehealth services on Friday mornings.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (or equivalent specialty).
Active or eligible for a Delaware Medical License.
Current DEA registration.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
