A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of appointment scheduling experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Proficiency in medical terminology is essential to facilitate effective communication with patients and healthcare providers. Familiarity with insurance processes is preferred, as this knowledge will help you navigate patient inquiries and scheduling efficiently. While experience with current EMR systems is advantageous, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will be vital in ensuring a smooth and empathetic patient experience in our customer-focused environment.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:High school diploma/GEDMinimum two years of appointment scheduling preferably in a medical office environment. Medical terminology knowledge requiredExperience with insurances preferred.
