Radiologic Technologist

A radiologic technologist skilled in diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging is sought to provide quality patient care and support department operations. This role requires independent work, technical proficiency, and flexibility to meet varied clinical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct CT imaging, including trauma imaging and IV contrast administration.
• Operate mobile/portable bedside imaging equipment to assist in diverse patient settings.
• Provide X-ray coverage in the operating room as needed.
• Participate in call coverage, including evenings and weekends, to ensure departmental responsiveness.
• Maintain proficiency with Siemens CT equipment and stay updated on imaging best practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold an ARRT license as a Radiologic Technologist and a current state of Maine license.
• Possess BLS certification and relevant experience in both diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple computer systems.
• Show proficiency in trauma imaging, IV contrast administration, and mobile/portable imaging.
• Be flexible and available for call, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Recent clinical experience in a fast-paced imaging environment.
