Surgical Technologist

Must be a Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program With Two (2) years of experience as a surgical technologist and/or has demonstrated competency in two (2) or more specialty areas Job Summary Looking for a full-time CST who will handle the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedures. He/she should have an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipate the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Must be able to keep up with our fast paced operating room flow. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program License/Certification: Certified in Basic Life Support and current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) Experience / Knowledge / Skills Two (2) years of experience as a surgical technologist and/or has demonstrated competency in two (2) or more specialty areas Demonstrates knowledge and practice of perioperative patient care concepts; demonstrates the ability to perform independently as first scrub in assigned specialty areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
