We are seeking a detail-oriented Painter to join our shop team. In this role, you’ll help prepare and apply high-quality surface finishes on wooden, metal, and composite components used in our custom conservatory and greenhouse projects. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has a strong eye for finish quality, and takes pride in contributing to beautiful, long-lasting architectural work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (wood, metal, etc.) by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning prior to finishing
• Apply paints, stains, sealants, varnishes, and protective coatings by hand or spray equipment
• Ensure consistent, smooth finishes that meet company quality and aesthetic standards
• Mix and match colors to meet project specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized paint area, tools, and spray equipment
• Follow safety and quality protocols in all painting processes

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience in a shop, manufacturing, or construction setting
• Familiarity with both interior and exterior finishes
• Ability to interpret color and finish specifications accurately
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
• Willingness to follow established processes and safety standards
