Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Support production processes through proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

• Conduct testing and analysis on production equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

• Design and implement modifications and upgrades to production equipment and processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve processes

• Train and support production personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of production equipment

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and records

• Help to rework/repair assembly tooling when not working

• Problem solves assembly issues

• Help develop and set up new shop processes

• Design and make assembly tooling when needed

• Perform other various production support tasks

• Assist Manufacturing Productivity Engineering Group as needed

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Assembly Processes and Machining Operations

• Ability to design, dimension and model items

• Detail oriented

• Creative thinking

• Problem solving and systematic diagnosis

• Self-motivated

• Interpersonal skills

• Good written, communication and oral presentation skills

• Knowledge of basic trigonometry

• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings or blueprints

• Experience solving Shop Floor problems

• Basic Microsoft Office and Adobe operations

Education Requirements:

Associate degree and 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment

OR Technical Diploma / Certification and 10 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding, follow detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete standardized situations.
