Position Summary Central Semiconductor is looking to add a QC Inspector to join the QC Team. The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on electronic components and materials to ensure conformance to specifications. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; structured training will be provided to the right candidate. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Performs inspections in accordance with departmental procedures and work instructions. Sets up and runs test programs on automatic test equipment (ATE), and checks for ATE correlations. Visually examines products to detect defects such as incorrect markings, improper orientation in packaging, improper packaging, bent leads, blemishes, stains, for both standard devices and TWM devices. Verifies conformance of products to dimensional specifications using a variety of measuring instruments for both standard and TWM devices. Records results of inspections in the system and prepares inspection reports, identifying approved and rejected quantities. Observes safety rules, regulations, and procedures while operating all equipment. Performs processes needed to maintain inventory integrity. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred Qualifications Quality Control Inspection experience with electronic components; 2 plus years related Quality Control experience; a one year certificate from technical school or one-two years of college; and experience with ISO9001:2015 are all preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
