You'll direct technician teams, manage service order workflow, uphold customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mobile fleet environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily service department operations including scheduling, workflow management, and productivity targetsSupervise, mentor, and develop service technicians to maintain high performance and quality workmanshipManage repair orders, ensure timely job completion, and maintain accurate documentationHandle customer escalations, manage expectations, and ensure proactive communicationCoordinate with parts, sales, and operations teams to ensure efficient service deliveryEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, DOT requirements, and OSHA standardsMonitor shop performance metrics and implement process improvementsAssist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of service personnelManage shop inventory and ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and operationalQualificationsProven experience as a Service Manager, Shop Manager, or similar leadership role in a mechanical, diesel, or fleet service environmentStrong leadership, team-building, and communication skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with service management software; Fullbay experience strongly preferredTechnical knowledge of diesel, mechanical, or automotive systemsValid driver's license; must pass pre-employment background and drug screeningPreferred SkillsProficiency with basic computer systems and productivity toolsExperience with shop scheduling software and technician workflow managementWorking knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulationsExperience in a mobile or field service environmentBenefitsHealth, Vision & Dental Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanLife & Disability InsurancePaid Time Off, Sick Leave & HolidaysWhy Transwest Mobile?We offer high-impact work, an elite team culture, and the stability of a company with a flawless safety record since 2009.
