Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal and state wage laws and company policies. The ideal candidate is analytical, self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while delivering excellent internal customer service. Key Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and timely in compliance with company policies and applicable wage and hour laws Review and resolve timecard exceptions, including missed punches, incorrect entries, and payroll discrepancies Respond to employee payroll inquiries related to pay calculations, overtime, garnishments, pay codes, and timekeeping issues Enter and maintain employee payroll records, including new hire information and payroll changes Audit payroll and timekeeping data to identify inconsistencies and ensure accuracy prior to payroll processing Prepare payroll-related reports and assist with payroll analysis and reconciliations Coordinate with department managers and supervisors to resolve timekeeping issues and maintain accurate records Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information Support payroll process improvements and assist with special projects as assigned Ensure compliance with internal procedures, state and federal regulations, and company policies Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred 1+ years of payroll processing experience required Experience with ADP Workforce Now -Required Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional discretion Preferred Skills Experience with timekeeping systems and payroll audits Knowledge of wage and hour regulations Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency Why Join Us?
