Senior Python Software Engineer

Senior Python Software Engineer Requirements: Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required. 6+ years of Software Engineering experience with a MS degree in Computer Science or related; or 8+ years with a BS degree; or 10+ years with an AA degree; or 12+ years with a High School Diploma. Works well independently as well as in a team. Responsibilities Develop, test, deploy, and sustain Python‑based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities using Django and Flask. Interact with data models stored in MariaDB or MongoDB and send JSON data to UI front ends. Provide middleware and backend support to all system applications. Key Skills Python Docker Experience with Django or Flask Database experience with MongoDB or MariaDB Desired Skills AWS or other cloud experience JSON and/or XML serialization Jira Confluence Agile methodology Location Linthicum Heights, MD Salary Range $170,000 to $260,000 (target range).
