About the Position

A busy hospital-based women’s health program in Lansing, Michigan is seeking Board Certified OB/GYN Physicians for a high-priority locum assignment providing 24-hour in-house call coverage . This opportunity is designed to support the obstetrics and gynecology service during scheduled coverage gaps.

Providers will manage labor and delivery cases, obstetric emergencies, and gynecologic consultations while working within a fully staffed hospital environment. The role involves 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) with multiple coverage dates available between March and July 2026 .

The practice operates within a modern healthcare campus featuring advanced women’s health services and a collaborative care model. Physicians will work alongside experienced nurses, hospital staff, and specialty teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care.

This assignment is ideal for local OB/GYN physicians who are comfortable managing inpatient obstetric coverage and responding to emergent cases in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements

Board Certified OB/GYN (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Active Michigan medical license and CSR at time of submission (no exceptions)
• DEA verification required at name clear
• BLS certification required
• Clean background and malpractice history 
• Ability to manage 24-hour in-house OB/GYN call coverage
• Comfortable providing care within a hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology service
