Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Sr. Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of industrial equipment and systems. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, and repair of complex machinery. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with industrial mechanic experience to contribute to operational excellence and safety standards in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
• Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems function correctly.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Conduct welding operations, including MIG/TIG welding techniques, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely while adhering to industry regulations.
• Assist with field service activities involving customer sites or remote locations as needed.
• Use industrial electrician experience to diagnose electrical faults in HVAC/R systems or other mechanical equipment.
• Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment maintenance or upgrades when required.
• Operate scissor lifts or other access equipment safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents related to high voltage, heavy machinery, or hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with industrial electrician practices is essential.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding techniques including MIG/TIG welding, and general maintenance procedures.
• Experience operating CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
• Ability to work safely with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while following strict safety standards.
• Field service experience preferred; ability to troubleshoot complex machinery in diverse environments.
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external clients.
• Effective communication skills in English; ability to interpret technical schematics clearly.
• Military background or training in related technical fields is considered an asset.
