All teaching positions require Arizona Teacher Certification and a highly qualified status for the content area pursuant to federal requirements. Up to ten (10) years of credit may be given for previous teaching experience for initial placement on the Certified Salary Placement Schedule; up to fifteen (15) years of credit may be given for previous teaching experience for initial placement on the Certified Salary Placement Schedule for certain positions including math, science, English, and special education.
