Psychiatric Social Worker II - REACT

Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with rotating late shift and weekends
Work Location: REACT Clinic, Cooper Green

Functions as a clinical member of the REACT multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services. Provides direct clinical social work services to community psychiatry patients, including: individual, group and family psychotherapy; patient and family education, consultation, facilitates intake evaluation clinics; assists psychiatrists in medication management; and provides some teaching in area of expertise.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree from an accredited school of social work. Must also adhere to the National Association of Social Workers Code of Ethics and be licensed or eligible for licensure on the graduate level. Adult, child and adolescent mental health experience preferred

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Currently licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) issued by the Alabama State Board of Social Worker Examiners, or license must be obtained with six (6) months of hire. Valid Alabama driver's license
