If you have a knack for food preparation and want to be part of a team that values high-quality, fresh ingredients, this is be the perfect opportunity for you!WHAT YOU'LL DO:Master the Prep: Prepare and portion food items with precision, ensuring all ingredients are ready for service.Keep It Fresh: Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of products to guarantee freshness.Sanitary Standards: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by adhering to state and local sanitation, storage, and refrigeration requirements and codes.Safety First: Handle slicers, knives, and other kitchen utensils and equipment with care to ensure a safe working environment.Stay Flexible: Adapt to the needs of the kitchen, shifting tasks as necessary to keep operations running smoothly.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Friendly, respectful, engaging, supportive, and hardworking individuals who enjoy being part of a dynamic team.Reliable and dependable workers who can be counted on to get the job done.Adaptable team members who can handle frequent shifts in tasks and direction.Self-motivated individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision.QUALIFICATIONS:While not required, previous kitchen experience is a plus.Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, repetitive grasping, bending, and reaching.Capable of moving or lifting an average of 30-50 pounds.Exposure to extreme temperatures, such as working in coolers.Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and HACCP standards is advantageous.Ability to follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, carving, and serving food items which may include meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food products.Manage and perform stock counts, date, rotate, and temperature checks of products.MAKE SURE YOU:Like food.
