Our organization is on the lookout for a Neurohospitalist to become part of our well-established team at a medical center located in Melbourne, FL. We encourage applicants who have a keen interest in Stroke and EEG Management to consider this opportunity.

Position Highlights

• 7 days on, followed by 7 days off schedule (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Manage a patient load of 12-16 individuals daily
• Minimal night neuro call required only during on-call periods (7 PM - 7 AM)

About the Medical Center

The Heart Center at our facility performs more cardiac procedures than any other hospital in Brevard and offers all-private patient rooms. As the sole state-accredited Level II trauma center in Brevard and Indian River Counties, we provide 24/7 trauma care and swift patient transport via our First Flight aeromedical helicopter. Additionally, our Birth Suites Mother/Baby Unit features Brevard's first Level II Neonatal ICU for our smallest patients.

We take pride in being the first hospital in Brevard to implement advanced robotics-assisted surgery for Urology, Prostate, and Gynecological conditions, as well as for advanced anterior hip replacement and reverse shoulder surgeries. As a designated Primary Stroke Center, we aim to transport, assess, diagnose, and treat each stroke patient within three hours of symptom onset. Our facility also offers innovative, life-altering Interventional Neuro-Radiology procedures for advanced stroke treatment, unique to Brevard. Our achievements have been recognized by the American Stroke Association, which awarded us the Get with the Guidelines Gold Award.
