Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in program or project management. Experience in NPI Operations. Experience in manufacturing or manufacturing operations. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of experience in hardware and manufacturing operations. 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation and assembly and test processes. Ability to communicate project requirements and schedules. As the New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be instrumental in bringing innovative products to market efficiently and effectively. You will be the primary link between Product Operations/Supply Chain and hardware development, advocating operational excellence and guiding new products through the entire life‑cycle, including production ramp within CM/ODM/JDM environments. You will ensure all products are built to Google's stringent quality and manufacturing requirements. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. Lead large, complex, cross‑functional NPI Program teams within Google Cloud, Platforms Engineering, and external partners to prepare from concept to production ramp along with managing end‑to‑end product life‑cycle transitions. Plan and execute NPI operations development activities and ensure successful transition from NPI to production delivering cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals and KPIs. Manage Manufacturing Ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (i.e., Hardware/Design Product maturity, material availability, Quality/Reliability, Cost/Assembly/Test/BOM/Capacity Ramp readiness and transition plans).
