Program Manager (Program Technician 2) – Oregon Rural Health Collaborative Oregon Health & Science University – Oregon, USA. Full‑time position. Remote work and telecommuting are available. Overview The Program Manager will lead the Oregon Rural Health Collaborative (ORHC) project, an 18‑month initiative funded through the State of Oregon’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). The role involves coordinating regional meetings, providing technical assistance, and preparing grant applications to support sustainable rural health care systems across eight regions. Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate the ORHC project, working with eight pre‑identified regional partners. Convenor and facilitator of regional meetings (in‑person and virtual), developing agendas and materials, and ensuring engagement and consensus building. Track action items, complete project deliverables, and maintain expense reporting for fund attribution. Collect and analyze data from meetings to identify common themes and support the technical assistance (TA) team. Prepare progress and annual reports on project activities and outcomes for the Oregon Health Authority. Maintain a database of contacts at rural health facilities and community organizations, and update related webpages and communications. Support community engagement, partnership development, and program planning in collaboration with ORH’s teams. Assist in budget management and expenditure tracking to funding sources. Contribute to ORH newsletters, social media, and annual report communications. Participate in staff‑wide meetings and support ORH events as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Five years of experience in program or project monitoring, coordination, and evaluation. Working knowledge of Oregon rural health care, and familiarity with state and federal regulations affecting rural health delivery. Excellent written, verbal, public‑speaking, facilitation, and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with community and statewide organizations. Strong organizational skills and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management). Required Microsoft Suite proficiency; Adobe Acrobat and Smartsheet skills are a plus. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across the state. Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant field. Experience working in a rural health care environment. Proficiency in grant writing.
