Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to provide academic and classroom support in a dynamic middle school setting near Hartford, CT. This is a contract opportunity tailored for individuals skilled as paraprofessionals, with a focus on supporting students primarily in inclusive general education classrooms. Your expertise will be key in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Key Qualifications:

• Verified paraprofessional experience in a school setting
• Completion of all required state trainings (or willingness to complete prior to start)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with supporting academic and behavioral learning within diverse student populations
• Ability to work effectively under the guidance of classroom teachers and staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and academic support to students within general education environments
• Collaborate with teachers to facilitate group activities and instructional tasks
• Help implement classroom routines and ensure a supportive setting for all learners
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Role Details:

• Contract runs from AUGUST 27th through NOVEMBER 30th
• Hours are limited to MONDAYS and THURSDAYS only, offering more flexibility in your weekly schedule
• This is not a 1:1 paraprofessional role; you will support overall classroom needs
