Ammonia Refrigeration Service Technician

Responsibilities Diagnose causes of Industrial Refrigeration equipment breakdowns Disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components Perform preventive maintenance and inspection tasks as defined in each maintenance agreement, maintaining adherence to budget objectives Obtain clearly defined directives from the Service Coordinator on the specific tasks to be performed; assist the coordinator in scheduling inspections based on location, man-hour requirements, priorities, customer coordination, and material pick-up Qualifications The availability to travel 50% of the time Industry experience in the Industrial Refrigeration field Primary area of expertise: evaporative condensers, large control systems, complex conventional electrical controls Industrial Refrigeration Systems including ammonia, cascade, and rack systems with the ability to rebuild commercial/industrial compressors EPA approved CFC certification and RETA Course I and II certifications Knowledge of current International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration / Refrigeration Engineers and Technician Association and OSHA safety regulations Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts, short notice assignments, emergencies, nights, weekends, and overtime (scheduled and unscheduled) Benefits Competitive wages Career development and progression 401(k) plan with company match PTO and paid holidays Excellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefits Employee Assistance Program Employee referral incentives EEO M/W/Disability/Vets Veterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply.
