We are a patient-focused dental practice committed to providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming, professional environment. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join our front office team and help maintain smooth daily operations.
Position Overview
The Dental Billing & Collections Coordinator plays a key role in patient communication, financial management, and administrative flow. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients while ensuring accurate billing and efficient office systems.
Responsibilities:
Billing & Collections
- Manage claims creation, submission, and follow-ups
- Handle patient billing, account audits, and payment collection
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
- Maintain compliance with dental coding and billing standards
Front Desk / Administrative
- Greet and check in/out patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones and assist patients with questions about treatment and insurance
- Maintain organized records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Support daily administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Dental front office or billing experience required (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of dental insurance plans, ADA codes, and claims processing
- Experience with Dentrix
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, dependability, and professionalism
