Front Desk Receptionist - Optical Or Medical BackgroundReceptionist needed for a fast-paced Optical Retail Office. As a receptionist you will be our company's first impression on our patients. It is your foremost responsibility to greet all patients and help them with the appropriate paperwork in a friendly, courteous, professional manner.Job Description:Welcome patients by greeting them in person or on the phoneSchedule patient appointmentsAssist patients according to established protocolsEnsure patient information is accurateCall and confirm appointmentsPull patient filesComplete information on patient filesVarious clerical dutiesAnswer phonesRequirements:Previous related experience (Optical or Medical)Knowledge of Vision and/or medical InsuranceHigh School Degree (GED)Strong written and verbal skillsComputer literateAbility to multitaskExcellent talent to interact with people in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner.Dependable, punctual and must be able to work Saturdays and some nights.
