REACH TRUCK OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Reach Truck   Operator for a company based in City, State. In this role, you will be   responsible for safely operating a reach truck and other warehouse equipment to move, organize, consolidate, and store inventory throughout the warehouse. This position also supports inventory accuracy, pallet preparation, damage recovery, and outbound shipment preparation. The employee must be comfortable using RF scanners and working independently while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Pay Rate
$17.25 per hour 1st Shift 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

$18.25 per hour Swing Shift 6:00 pm - 2:30 am

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. (overtime required)

Reach Truck Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate a  reach truck forklift to move and organize pallets throughout the warehouse.
• Use  RF scanners to track inventory movement and verify product locations.
• Consolidate inventory to maximize warehouse space and improve product organization.
• Move products into designated rack and storage locations.
• Operate an  electric pallet jack (EPJ)as needed.
• Perform inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies.
• Stretch-wrap and prepare pallets for storage or shipment.
• Assist with damaged-product recovery and disposition.
• Maintain clean, organized, and orderly warehouse storage locations.
• Follow all forklift, warehouse, and company safety procedures.
• Read and follow inventory documents, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Cross-train and assist in other warehouse functions as business needs require. 

Reach Truck Operator Qualifications  and Requirements

  Previous warehouse experience required; intermediate warehouse experience preferred.

   Previous reach truck forklift experience required.

  Electric pallet jack experience preferred.

  Experience with inventory organization, pallet movement, and order consolidation.

  Ability to perform inventory counts accurately.

  Experience using RF scanners or similar warehouse technology.

  Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  Ability to identify inventory or operational problems and report discrepancies.

  Strong commitment to workplace safety.

  Ability to lift and move objects weighing  up to 50 pounds , with or without assistance.

  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete floors.

  Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and overhead lifting.

  Ability to repeatedly get on and off forklift equipment.

  Ability to work in warehouse environments that may include hot and cold temperatures.

  Manual dexterity necessary to operate warehouse equipment and handle products.
