The Cell Phone Repair Technician is an independent specialist responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of mobile devices. Using a standard repair toolkit, this role requires strong technical skills to perform hardware and software repairs, ensuring devices meet quality standards. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required. Opportunities for advancement include promotion to lead technician and expansion into sales or management roles, supported by ongoing skill development training.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose device issues and determine repair needs
- Replace broken screens and faulty batteries
- Perform hardware repairs and soldering as needed
- Troubleshoot software problems to restore functionality
- Conduct quality testing to ensure repairs meet standards
- Document repair processes and outcomes accurately
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for on-site repairs
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in electronics repair
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of mobile device repair and soldering techniques
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and technical troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail
