In-House Litigation Attorney (Engagement, Remote)

Latitude is looking for an in-house litigation lawyer with 7+ years of experience working on auto and consumer protection matters and class actions. The role would assist the in-house team in managing the overall portfolio of litigation, managing outside counsel, reviewing files and communicating out needed changes to operations resulting from ongoing litigation. The successful candidate will report to both the DGC and GC of the company and work with both those inside and outside the legal department. The successful candidate should enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and have significant litigation experience handling written discovery, motion work, depositions and court hearings. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate's preference (each candidate's pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate's competitiveness for the position).Benefits: In addition to compensation, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement.
