An established international logistics provider is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand its customer base across South Florida.
This role will focus on winning new air and ocean freight business, developing strategic accounts and delivering tailored logistics solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven freight forwarding sales background and strong relationships within the local market.

Overview

This role will focus on winning new air and ocean freight business, developing strategic accounts and delivering tailored logistics solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven freight forwarding sales background and strong relationships within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new freight forwarding business opportunities
- Build a strong pipeline across targeted customers and industries
- Develop existing accounts and identify additional revenue opportunities
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, RFQs, tenders and quotations
- Build lasting relationships with customers and strategic partners
- Monitor market conditions, customer requirements and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales reports
- Proven international freight forwarding sales experience
- Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight services
- Demonstrated success winning and developing profitable accounts
- Established relationships within the South Florida logistics market
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Commercial understanding of forwarding processes and regulations
- $120,000 base salary
- Attractive uncapped commission structure
